3rd Annual Catch & Release Derby for Women*

Derby Headquarters – Ship Ashore Resort, Smith River, CA
Rivers: Smith & Chetco
Fishing Style: Professionally guided, artificial or bait, drift boat
Anglers: 2 per boat; 2 per team – majority of team members must be women!

Friends of Cal-Ore Fish is pleased to announce the First Annual Women’s Invitational Catch & Release Derby scheduled for March 27, 28, & 29, 2008, on the Smith & Chetco Rivers in Smith River, CA and Brookings, OR. The derby will be headquartered at the Ship Ashore Motel on the banks of the beautiful Smith River. The entry fee is inclusive of rooms at the Ship Ashore, or if you are a local team, there will be a price reduction. Please download the entry form (link below) for more information on prices.
We will have a variety of new ideas for this exciting new derby including:
- Counting of fish
- Variety of fishing techniques
- “Fish” Raffle
- “Fish” Catch & Release Auction (of the previously raffled fish!)
- Free time for sight seeing or lounging
- Great Prizes!
- Great food!
- Women only nights!
