For over twenty-eight years two non-profit groups, Friends of The North Coast Fish, Inc. (FNCF) and California and Oregon Fish Enhancement, Inc. (COFE), have successfully operated as charitable fundraisers in support and enhancement of salmon and steelhead in the Southern Oregon and Northern California regions.

During their decades of operation, each organization has accomplished remarkable feats: Each has raised charitable monies in effective and similar ways; each has distributed those funds to common beneficial causes; and the leaders and members of each have continually and unselfishly given of themselves so that the fish population of the north coast could prosper and strengthen. Collectively, yet working separately, FNCF and COFE, through their patrons, have distributed grants over 2.14 million dollars.

After a quarter of a century, FNCF and COFE are now consolidating their efforts under one, dynamic organization - "Friends of Cal-Ore Fish" (FCOF). It now becomes our (FCOF) responsibility under one strong voice to achieve and build upon the goals of these two long standing organizations.

With a combined 50+ years worth of experience, Friends of Cal-Ore Fish is strongly positioned to continue and advance our goals and objectives. We are dedicated to preserving the outdoor experience for our future generations. We are actively pursuing this goal through many methods highlighted on this website.
